Supporting Faculty to Build Equity Into Learning
DVP-PRAXIS LTD is collaborating with The Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research, the North Carolina Community College System Student Success Center, and Achieving the Dream to evaluate the implementation and impact of North Carolina Teaching and Learning Hubs. The Teaching and Learning Hubs are designed to complement colleges’ teaching and learning efforts and support scalable and sustainable professional development activities for all North Carolina Community College faculty. Evaluation activities include an implementation study to document how Teaching and Learning Hubs are designed and operationalized to support faculty professional development that results in improvements in classroom management and teaching practices; and an impact study to document student academic outcomes connected to faculty participation in Hub-supported professional development.
